This is a myth that many of us believe. The truth is we are not broken or even need to be healed. In fact, it is not even about becoming whole. We are already whole.

We are born whole and unconditioned by the world around us. As we grow and experience the world around us, especially in our early childhood years and also in our young adult years and even beyond, we are being conditioned by the role models around us. As such, we act like a sponge absorbing everything we see and hear, especially how those close to us react emotionally to adversity, loss, and disappointment. As conditioned humans, we repeat the same patterns we absorbed as a child, so automatically they in effect become unconscious to our very awareness. These patterns becomes so automatic and unconscious, that by default we feel they are safe and comfortable, our known territory.

The root of the work to be done lies in this emotional conditioning. It is about becoming aware of the emotional patterns we absorbed and learned while we were growing up to see who we truly are without all this conditioning. Our true self is there within us, patiently waiting for us to start looking inward to rediscover it. Becoming aware of our own conditioning and reminding ourselves of who we truly are and always have been...is the key to unlocking our limitless potential.

Perhaps you have always known this is true. In a faint whisper, the silent knowing of what you are truly capable of is there to guide you, but with the sounds blaring through and all the distractions from the external world, you let go of this awareness, this knowing, and let it be drowned out by the outside world. You already have all the knowledge you need to lead yourself to your true love. You only need to learn how to access this knowledge from within yourself and allow it to guide you in your everyday life. It won't happen overnight, it is just like any new skill you learn. It takes time, effort, and lots of practice. More importantly, though, it is possible for you to embark on this journey. Nature has already designed you for it.

Trust in your true self. And if you still don't trust in your true self, ask yourself what is stopping you? What happened to you in your past to make you feel this way? This is the start of the journey. Learning to discover why we have made the choices we have until today is the beginning of unraveling the mystery of how we got here.

If you have been asking yourself these kind of questions, perhaps your true self is aching to come forward and express itself. And if you haven't been asking yourself these kind of questions, perhaps your conditioning is trying to stop you from finding out. The learned conditioning is familiar, the comfort zone, and it wants to keep you safe in your known territory. Wouldn't it be freeing to find out where your limitless potential will take you? The true love you are searching for is there, hoping to find you, in the space just beyond your comfort zone.
